Give Me Faith Farm LLC

Last April, we took a road trip to Parma, Idaho to pick up our brand-new purebred Nubian buckling named Jax.

It was decided between my friend Carol and I that we needed to bring some fresh genetics into her relatively closed herd. Since all but one of my goats came from her farm, this applied to my herd as well. So, I began hunting for my heart’s desire, a beautiful Nubian. It didn’t matter if it was a doe or buck, just as long as it was unrelated to any of our other goats. Jax was born April 5th, 2021.

We spent a few days traveling up the gorgeous state of Idaho, enjoying bonding with our newborn, before cutting back into Washington and coming home. Jax did well riding in a box in the back seat and by the time we got home, he considered us as his parents!

Jax needed a little buddy to grow up with and Carol came through with one of quadruplets from one of her dairy does, Adina. She brought Austin up and we introduced him to Jax. They became best friends.

Jax is going to replace Linus as the farm’s breeding buck once he’s old enough to do his job and I am looking forward to seeing all the awesome babies he’s sires!

As one of quads, Austin was the only boy and Carol felt he would be a good friend for Jax and would take the burden of raising four babies off his mother. He was traded for Sabrina’s son, Scottie, so he would be a permanent addition to the farm and he and Jax would always be together. He is a wonderfully sweet little wether, very attached to Jax and extremely vocal. He takes after his mom in that regard. As a buck buddy, he will be Jax’s constant companion, especially when breeding season is over. This way, Jax will never be lonely!
